BSH Home Appliances, a subsidiary of BSH Hausgerate GmbH, a global leader in the home appliance industry, has recently launched its iQ700 range of built-in ovens under the Siemens brand in India. With an industry-first integrated camera that promises to revolutionise cooking for Indian households, the iQ700 ovens are a great option for both culinary experts and beginners, as they are brimming with cutting-edge features and have a modern design.
The range aims to redefine connected cooking in India. With standard dimensions of 60 x 60 cm, these contemporary and effective ovens can accommodate a range of consumer preferences. Two energy-efficient LED lights perfectly illuminate the oven's interiors, allowing the user to see the cooking process without having to open the oven. The Voice Control, a smartphone, tablet, or touch display via the Home Connect App are all ways that users of the Home Connect feature can control the oven programs.

The camera provides a clear view of the food, allowing for precise control of browning levels, making it ideal for dishes that require precise timing and browning, such as roasts or baked goods.”
Food bloggers and professional chefs can also benefit from the camera by creating time-lapse videos of the cooking process. “Furthermore, the camera facilitates remote diagnostics for technical support, reducing the need for in-person service calls. The Home Connect App alerts users when the dish is ready and automatically turns off the oven, providing a seamless cooking experience,” informed Khan.
