Hettich India to Double Production with the Inauguration of its Newly Expanded Plant in Vadodara

Hettich, the renowned furniture fittings manufacturer in India, has inaugurated its third state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Vadodara. The new plant, like the existing ones, will focus on producing Drawer Channels, effectively doubling its production capacity.
The new plant is powered with the latest European technology to produce cutting-edge drawer channels with ultimate precision. “It is equipped to take care of the entire product life cycle right from raw material to finished goods. Its top-notch quality control measures ensure that the products go through severe quality checks before reaching the customers. Together, both the plants are expected to double the production of drawer channels for both national and international markets furthering Hettich India’s ideology of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’,” claimed the company.
The event was graced by core board members from the Hettich Group including Dr. Andreas Hettich, Chairman of the Hettich Group Advisory Board, Andre Eckholt, Managing Director of Hettich India and Saroj Poddar, Chairman of Hettich India.
Commenting on the inauguration, Dr. Andreas Hettich, Chairman of the Hettich Group Advisory Board said, “Vadodara is the very place where we initiated our manufacturing footprint in India back in 2013. It's truly emotional for us as we inaugurate our third plant here. Additionally, we are also expanding the manufacturing capabilities of our existing plants to boost overall production. We recognise the huge potential of the Indian market, and these investments are a testament to the Group’s firm commitment to India. We aim to position it as the next manufacturing hub, following Germany, to deliver cutting-edge products not only to India but also to the world.”

Andre Eckholt, Managing Director of Hettich India, Middle East, Africa & SAARC played a pivotal role in establishing Hettich's first-ever plant in India at Vadodara. He spearheaded the entire setup process from inception to fruition. Speaking at the event, he said, “Vadodara holds a special place in my heart as it's where I laid the foundation for Hettich's first manufacturing plant in India. It represents a milestone of great emotional value. Now, with the inauguration of our third plant in Vadodara, I am pleased to reaffirm our commitment to India as a manufacturing hub and a key contributor to our brand's growth within the expanding economy.”
Speaking more on the plant, he added, "We are making significant investments in expanding our capacity and digitization to meet the increasing demand for innovative and multi-functional furniture in both domestic and international markets. Alongside our business growth, we remain committed to sustainability and the skill development of local communities. The new plant in Vadodara will also create additional direct and indirect job opportunities."
