This compact kitchen design presented by Gaurav Arora, Principal Designer, Market Craft, New Delhi won the 2nd Prize at the Hettich presents Kitchen Ideas Design Challenge 2023-2024.
This cutting-edge kitchen concept aims to redefine modern luxury in small spaces. “Our design seamlessly blends exotic stone and fluted glass with sleek black matte profiles. The space-efficient layout incorporates state-of-the-art modular appliances, creating a functional yet stylish culinary haven. The addition of a dual-purpose bar cum breakfast counter enhances versatility and fosters a sociable ambience,” shared Gaurav Arora, Principal Designer, Market Craft.

Design Features
· The design incorporates AI-enhanced smart appliances and IoT-enabled home automation to orchestrate an unparalleled kitchen experience. These features enable the user to effortlessly monitor every facet of the kitchen environment through intuitive interfaces or voice-activated commands.
· The cabinets offer adaptive and intelligent storage solutions. Each unit is meticulously crafted to metamorphose in accordance with the user’s evolving storage requirements.
· The design incorporates concealed storage solutions, where pull-out pantry units, rotating carousels, and vertical pull-outs seamlessly blend into the kitchen landscape, optimising both space and accessibility.

· Neoteric LED task lighting enhances visibility and ambience while minimising energy consumption.
· Advanced ventilation systems, combining intelligent hoods and exhaust fans eradicate cooking fumes and elevate air quality.
· The design prioritises safety with cognizant childproof cabinet systems with advanced locking mechanisms.
· Flame-retardant materials and cutting-edge smart smoke detection systems provide an extra layer of safety and peace of mind.
